Founder & CEO
Sukiran began at the Indian Statistical Institute, where mathematics was not a subject but a way of seeing. It was there that the instinct formed — that capability was being hoarded, that the tools of structured intelligence were being rationed to those who could already afford them.
The arc that followed — GE Capital, American Express, HSBC — was not credential-building. It was proximity to the machinery. Twenty-seven years inside the institutions that move capital, design risk frameworks, and make decisions that touch millions of people. Close enough to see exactly how the intelligence worked. And exactly who was never given access to it.
That knowledge became a responsibility. Capability inclusion — the phrase Sukiran coined — is not a positioning statement. It is the precise name for the problem that Ckuens exists to correct.
He has worked personally on every significant client engagement. Not as an oversight — as a commitment. He has been involved in AI policy conversations at the national level. He has also, deliberately, kept one eye on the corner shop.
The inner rebel against mindless capitalistic creation — the belief that what you build should outlast the quarter, and be fair enough to withstand scrutiny — is present in every decision Ckuens makes.
We do not have a bench. We have a team — people who have spent careers inside the domains they now build intelligence for. The work at Ckuens is never delivered junior-only. Every engagement carries senior judgment from start to finish, not as a quality check at the end but as a structural commitment from the first conversation.
We work with a quiet intensity. Deadlines are kept. Standards do not move. The goal is always the same: something that works, that the client can own, and that holds up under scrutiny.
"The standard here is not what the client expects — it is what the problem actually requires. Those are often different things."
"We question the brief. Not to be difficult — because the right question at the start saves months at the end."
Our team spans Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Physics, and Business. We have never delivered a project junior-only. We never will.
Not dumbing down. The opposite — understanding something deeply enough to explain it plainly. Every model, every presentation, every conversation is as simple as it can be and no simpler.
The willingness to see a problem as it is, not as the industry expects it to be solved. Our best work has always begun by questioning the brief.
Regulatory-grade rigour at every scale. The mushroom grower deserves the same precision as the central bank. No exceptions.
Built into how we work, not claimed in a tagline. When we say we build what did not exist before, we mean it technically, not metaphorically.
